At Dokotela, we aim to make specialist care more accessible by connecting patients across Australia with specialist doctors and clinicians and is designed to facilitate collaborative care through a secure online booking and video-conferencing platform.

We have collected your Personal Information either directly from you when you are using our services or through a third party, such as a referral from another health care provider.
Information collected includes identifying information such as your name and date of birth, and certain health information from referrers.
We may also be collecting your Personal Information from web analytics tools, ‘cookies’ or other similar tracking technologies that allow us to track and analyse your website usage.

8. AI-Assisted Recording and Transcription
Where you have consented, your appointment may be recorded and transcribed using an AI-powered scribe tool. This tool generates a real-time transcription of your session to assist your clinician in preparing clinical notes and treatment correspondence. The clinician reviews, validates, and finalises all documentation — the AI tool is not used autonomously and does not make any clinical decisions or diagnoses.
You will be informed about the use of AI recording and transcription at two points before your appointment. Your consent will be sought prior to any recording taking place. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us using the details in section 8.
No patient data is used to train or develop AI models. All transcription data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws.
